Tutorial on Creating NPC Add-ons Sendiri di Minecraft Bedrock | Alat & Aplikasi yang Kamu Butuhin!

Many Minecraft Bedrock players are curious about how to create their own NPC (Non-Player Character) — a unique character that can interact with other players, speak, even carry out certain commands. But most stop at one point: confused about where to start.

So, in this video, I'm starting a comprehensive series on the Warrior Pro Gamerz channel, "Learn to Make an NPC Add-on from Scratch." This series will cover the step-by-step process of creating your own NPC add-on without any software PC just use mobile phone.

Tools & Applications Used

Before you start creating a file, you'll need to prepare some essential tools. In this first video, I introduce the applications that will be used during the add-on creation process, namely:

  • File Manager (ZArchiver or similar) — to organize folder structure and move files between directories.
  • Teks Editor</strong> (QuickEdit, MT Manager, atau Acode) — to write and edit JSON files such as manifest.json and entity.json.
  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition (latest version) — where you will test the results of the add-on.
  • Blockbench (for the next stage) — custom 3D model creation application such as new NPCs, vehicles, and mobs.

This video focuses on introducing all of these tools so you're ready to go into the coding and file creation process.

What Will Be Discussed in the Next Video

This series will be released in stages so you can learn at a relaxed yet focused pace. Here's the release order::

Phase 1 (Friday Release)

Folder Structure, Manifests, and Entities

You will learn how to create main folders like behavior_packs and resource_packs, then write important files like:

manifest.json → add-on identity and version

entity.json → where you define NPCs, animations, and basic behaviors

This step is absolutely mandatory, because all Minecraft add-ons start from here.

Phase 2 (Release Next Week)

How to Create a Custom Model in Blockbench

Once the add-on foundation is ready, we can then create our own custom NPC models. You will learn how to design 3D characters, add textures, and export them to Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Why You Should Join This Series

The “Learn to Make NPC Add-ons from Scratch” series is perfect for:

  • Beginners who are hearing the terms "behavior" and "manifest" for the first time.
  • Add-on creators who want to level up from simply changing skins to creating interactive NPCs.
  • Creators who want to build their own Minecraft world (e.g. zombie apocalypse, military, or survival themed).

I personally use this method on various large add-on projects, so everything discussed below has been proven to work and is compatible with the latest Minecraft Bedrock.

Series Schedule and Direction

1. First video (tools & apps) → already aired on Warrior Pro Gamerz channel

2.Second video (folder structure & entity) → airs Friday.

3.Third video (creating a custom model in Blockbench) → airs Sunday.

Each episode will have a companion article on this blog so you can review the steps without having to pause the video.

Closing

Creating Minecraft add-ons does take time and attention to detail, but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun. So, make sure you watch the first video now below and don't forget to turn on notifications so you don't miss the next stage video!
